Chair memory and Remote control

Hey Boys and Girls.

I have a puzzle! Just two weeks ago a got mine new 75 (second one). It's a CDTi with leather seats. These seat are programmable with 3 memories. In the user manual they say it should be posible to use the remote key to go in the right position (the chair). With the normal key in memory 1 and the second key in mem 2.

It doesn't work!!! I have programmated the memory position one and two, but when I open the door and hold the open-button the chair doesn't move. Furthermore I don't see any difference between the two keys. So which key uses which memory position?

Does anyone know how to program and use it?

Hi When!

I know about this feature while I never heard or read that key nbr two will trigger memory position 2. On my both keys trigger memory position 1.

When opening the door locks with the remote controll on the key and holding down the button once pressed for 2 seconds, the seat moves into position ""one"". This certianly only happens in case the seat was in a different position.

So try that one and let me know.

Well it's a long time ago, but now I know more.
I have ask the car-dealer, but he didn't know, so he make contact with the dutch MG-Rover organisation. They didn't know it!
So they contacted England and know yesterday a heard that it is a feature and must be "programmated" on my car.
I while go see my dealer next week or so, and that let you know if it works.
