Important information for all participants of the 2nd International Rover 75 Meeting!!!


When you will arrive to one of the recommended hotels you will get a special key ring. Pleas insure that you will keep this key ring with you during the whole event. It is your personal access authorisation to all locations of the meeting! May be that some people will appear that haven't announced and with those key rings we can be sure that nobody will participate without paying the fee.
Those of you who will not stay in one of the recommended hotels or those who will arrive on late saturday or on sunday will get their key ring after getting in touch with a member of the planning committee (mintman, ernst, hitzi, js, scotty, fuerst48, hajott, gert).

We hope you will understand this procedure, this will keep our event in good stead.

We wish you all a nice and safe travel to Luxemburg.

Here is the (nearly) last version of the program:

Saturday, 26.05.2007
Meeting at the museum for natural science in Luxemburg-City at 10.00 a.m.. Guided tour through the museum (multilingual). The club will welcome you with a drink and some snacks. (about noon). Afterwards a city walking tour (2.00 p.m.) and a drive to a car museum at Diekirch. Back to the hotels. At 6.00 p.m. drive to a homely restaurant where you can taste special food from Luxemburg. Open end.

Sunday, 27.05.2007
Arrival at Bettembourg castle from 10.00 a.m.. Reception with a wine of honour by the town of Bettembourg and addresses of welcome to official guests. For lunch the Club will invite you for some snacks. Discussion with experts from Xpart, great tombola, car viewing, talking shop, fun. For dinner we will drive to a restaurant for winding up the day.

Monday, 28.05.2007
At 9.00 a.m. drive to Metz in France. Guided tour through the central storehouse of Xpart. Afterwards common dinner and winding up the event .

All participants will get road maps in time for each location.

Sorry that the start on saturday at 10.00 a.m. is a bit early, but due to reasons of organisation ist was not possible to arrange another time.
If requested we will arrange a second guided tour through the museum instead of a city walking tour.

Yes, I saw the last update, but could not find any route direction to Metz with the route instructions and maps sent out recently. There were directions and maps to the Museum, Motor Museum and Hotels, but nothing for Metz.

Hi Chris,

that's right. As requested by Xpart, we will travel in parties with max. 20 participants to Metz because the guiding tour there is only possible for the maximum of 20 persons at once. You will get the road maps and any other information in Luxemburg.

as promised on 2007-12-01 Club Seventyfive gave its 2.000,- EUR donnation to Aids & Child in Bettembourg as the result from the great international meeting in summer 2007.
