Important information fot the participants of the Meeting in NL in October

Dear Participants,

First of all I’m delighted that so many of you are coming to the Meeting in October in Holland !
You already roughly know the programm http://www.r75.info/modules.php?nam.....file=viewtopic&t=5367
and now slowly all details are being worked out.

Friday 03-10-2008:

At 04.00 p.m. we expect all participants at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Schoorl. http://www.goldentulipjanvanscorel.nl/default.aspx?Language=EN
Official welcome with surprise ! In the evening dinner in the hotel-restaurant.

Saturday 04-10-2008:

The Saturdayprogramm offers to my opinion a lot of variation with interesting elements for everybody. This day will bring you along many nice places of the typical countryside of Noord-Holland. This link gives a nice impression of what you can expect: http://www.museumstoomtram.nl/film/film01/

With your leave (and I presume that you will have no objections) I arranged with the organization of the http://www.museumstoomtram.nl/stoomtram/ENGELS/homeEng.html
that, wenn we at ± 01.00 p.m. in Medemblik go on board the ship, several tables will be ready for our group, where we can enjoy a special “Westfriese” lunch. That means that several typical local specialities like a “Westfriese krentenmik” will be served, but also meat-products, cheese, different kinds of bread, coffee or tea. Don’t be afraid, afterwards there remains enough time to stroll around the ship and to enjoy the sight, before we arrive at ± 3.15 p.m. at the Museum Park http://www.zuiderzeemuseum.nl/28/the-museum/museum-park/ in Enkhuizen.
Until 5.00 p.m. you can stroll around the Museum Park, then we take the train (± 15 min) back to Hoorn where the cars are being parked. Parking ticket in Hoorn for the whole day is EURO 2,00; unfortunately I don’t have influence on that.

Because this is being considered as a group trip (and to get price reduction !) I unfortunately (again / sorry for that) have to make in advance an appeal to your wallet:
· Costs for the tour with the historical steamtram, after that with the steamer across the lake IJsselmeer, entrance Museum Park and at the end back by train to Hoorn where the cars are being parked: EURO 29,50 each (normal price EURO 34,50)
· Generous lunch on board of the steamer: EURO 9,50
Deaparture from Hoorn with the historical train at 11.00 a.m.; return in Hoorn at ± 6.00 p.m.
After that back to the hotel to have a swim in the hotel swimming pool or to take a short sauna or a Turkish steam bath (is all included) before dinner.

Because of the above mentioned I request you to transfer EURO 39,00 each / GBP 31,00 each into the account of the Club Seventyfive. Please mention with your transfer your Nickname. Meanwhile you may already know the bankdetails. Please find them also here:

(Remark: this is apart from the EURO 10,00 each (1-2 participants); EURO 27,50 each (3 participants) and EURO 32,50 each (4 or more participants) that (most of) you already paid)

Sunday 05-10-08:

After breakfast we ‘ll go to the charming village of Bergen (± 10 km) where we visit the Auto-Union Museum http://www.autounionmuseum.nl/pages/pagina_1pag.html
This (small) private museum has an unique collection of Auto-Union an DKW cars as well as bikes. Some of them are so unique, that you can not find them in Germany anymore. Of course there is a very good contact with Audi in Ingolstadt. To be honest they even are a bit jealous in Ingolstadt!
Specially for us he already opens in the morning (normally at 1.00 p.m).
Free entrance but of course the Club Seventyfive will pay a contribution to this exquisite collection.

After that we drive through the nice countryside alongside the dunes and coast to the MG Rover dealer Jan Veenis http://www.rovee-veenis.nl/ . Distance about 35 km. Here you can still feel the atmosphere of MG and Rover as if Rover still exists. Meanwhile Jan Veenis developed to a real MG Rover specialist with customers all over Holland. So if you have any questions or technical problems…………………
Naturally there will be a buffet before at ± 4.00 p.m. the Meeting comes to an end.

General announcements:
· Friday evening as well as Saturday evening the three-course menu will be in the nice restaurant of the hotel http://www.goldentulipjanvanscorel.nl/default.aspx?Language=EN
· This dinner will be served for the special price of EURO 29,50 each.
· A vegetarian dinner for the same price is also possible; if necessary let me know asap please.
· In September you will all receive personally by e-mail a “Road-book” / scenario with all details such as addresses, distances, plans etc etc. If we do not have your e-mail or if your e-mail recently changed, please let me know asap.
· Do not forget your Parking Disc ! Parking in Bergen may than become difficult or unnecessary expensive !
· People who like to come only on Saturday or only on Sunday please let me know asap as well.

Registration for this Meeting until 31-07-2007.

And of course let’s hope we‘ll have an Indian Summer like we had over the last years !

Germany: 17 cars = 35 people
Netherlands: 5 cars = 12 people
Denmark: 1 car = 2 people
Luxemburg: 1 car = 2 people (Club Seventyfive President)
France: 2 cars = 5 people
Belgium: 1 car = 2 people
Lithuania: 1 car = 2 people

Lithuania, that will be the longest distance. Again

Meanwhile most of you already paid their contribution which means:

Coming alone / 1 participant: € 10,00
Coming together/ 2 participants: € 20,00
