To the 75Club Committee

Hello all,

I read an item in my local newspaper referring to a "a major new annual international motoring event which is to make its home at Culzean Castle in Ayrshire, Scotland from September 2008".

I wonder if you might wish to consider if this might be an event which the 75Club might take part in?

The event is to be organised by 'Auto Spirit' and the 'National Trust for Scotland' and the event website is as follows:

The Organisers are to launch their plans at a gathering in September 2007 to create further interest and interested groups are asked to register their interest if they wish to receive an invitation.

A great idea! Participating in the Culzean Autoclassica would be fantastic. On www.culzeanautoclassica.com you can see that some very posh auto clubs (e.g. Bentley and Maserati) have already received invitations for the 2008 event.

In the eyes of many continental Europeans the Rover 75 is a rather exclusive car. The Club Seventyfive Committee could investigate the possibility of being invited by Culzean Atoclassica. The question seems to be: will the organizers of the Culzean Autoclassica want to include Rover 75 and MG ZT owners in their classic car event?

If the answer is yes, I will try to be there! The Club Seventyfive Committee might start a provisional list of members who are interested in participating in travelling to Scotland in 2008. That would give us some idea of the numbers.
