Friday May 30, 2025:

9.30 Drive from the hotel to Lasauvage (translated as “The Wild One”) 40kms 30 minutes drive.

Guided tour 2 hours followed by a snack in an award-winning chip shop in Athus (Belgium) 10 km drive.

After the snack, the participants have free time (excursion and shopping tips will of course be communicated).
7pm dinner in the hotel, then as always open end.


Saturday May 31, 2025:

No need to use your own car today. Bus ride at 9.30 from the hotel to Born on the Sauer (40kms). Visit (90 minutes) to the only cider factory in Luxembourg in Born, of course with tasting and snacks.

The bus continues his trip to Vianden to the castle (45kms).
There, guided tour divided into 2 groups.

After that return to the hotel. (50kms)

For those who still have some time, there is a guided tour around the carriage, farm and craft museum in Peppingen. For the thirsty and hungry, there is something to drink and eat in the nearby brasserie from 11 a.m.

After that, the Luxmeeting unfortunately is history.

we can already give you a tip that might be interesting for a visit on the free Friday afternoon on May 30th.

The Battle of the Bulge took place between December 16th 1944 and January 25th 1945.

A short but bloody battle that was won by the Allies.

It could be that we do not have enough time for Bastogne in the afternoon.
You need let’s say 3 hours for this museum. Including the distance it might be short time.
Fränk is looking if he can bring forward the program in the morning, he is also looking at an alternative in the afternoon.

I Have hopefully paid the event fee..... and set the hotel a email booking a room from Wednesday till the Sunday . not yet decided about after . due to ny driving bevs mum to hospital after a fall and the mad few weeks after got a bity behind on sorting things . in short bevs mum hot a replacement hip and now in a care home and her house is being sold .. a lot of sorting .. be nice to join again club 75 at a event . my 75 is still going but requires some more stuff after the epic last two services .
we are bringing our mg 3 hybrid to aid Bevs situation with travel and currently finding driving manual no ideal due to medial problems ..

well i'm not getting any younger either as i will be 60 in a few days .. i look forward to seeing you all

YESTERDAY WE DROPPED OF OUR 75 FOR SERVICE AND MOT AT AUSTIN GARAGES . HOPEFULLY FOR A SMALL BILL GIVEN RESENT BILLS ON BOTH THE 75 AND MGF ...
IT WAS ONLY A SHORT TIME AGO THE 75 HAD A NEW SET OF FRONT SPRINGS , A SIDE INPACT SENSOR AND A ALTERATER

APART FROM THE HAND BRAKE BEING WEAK I DON'T KNOW OF ANY REASON FOR IT TO FAIL ......

FIGUERS CROSSED .. WHILE BEV CAN FOR SHORT DISTANCES DRIVE THE 75 SHE IS STARTING TO HAVE PROBLEMS , HENCE WHY IN 2020 WE GOT A MG ZS AUTO. OVER 22 YEARS OF STOP START TRAIFFIC HAD MADE GETTING A AUTO VERY MUCH REQUIED AND DRIVING THE MGF AND 75 TO BE NOT IN HEAVY TRIFFIC ... BUT THE MPG WAS NEVER I THOUGHT GREAT BIUT A GREAT CAR TO DRIVE . PROBLEM IBEING THE MGF HAS A BIGGER FUEL TANK AND SO WHEN I SAW THE MG3 HYBRID I WAS VERY KEEN AS IT WAS MUCH BETTER MPG AND AS A SIDE EFFECT JUST HAPPENS TO BE ABOUT AS POWERFUL AS A 2.5 MG ZT .

SO ITS NOT SLOW AND AS WE WANT TO KEEP OUR MGF AND 75 THE MG3 HYBRED IS BEING USED TO KEEP MILES OFF DAY TO DAY STUFF AND HAVE A OPTION TO DO CAR STUFF.

GIVEN BEVS SITUTION I FELT GIVEN RESENT HISTORY WITH THE 75 AND ONGOING WORK THAT IT WAS BEST TO COME TO THE CLUB 75 EVENT IN OUR MG3 SO BEV MAYBE ABLE TO DRIVE AND WE HAVE A EASYER TIME . . IT IS OUR INTENTION AS FAR AS POSSIBLE TO KEEP OUR F AND 75 BUT GIVEN BEV BECOMING LESS ABLE TO DRIVE EITHER WE MAY HAVE TO RETHINK . BUT FOR NOW I HOPE CONTINUE WITH THE 75 WHICH IS MY BABY .
