Intl.meeting 26-28 of may 2007 Saar-Lor-Belux region

From 26 and till 28 of may 2007 an intl.meeting will take place in and around Luxemburg.

During the 3 days we will have plenty of time to visit the 4 countries (Germany, France, Belgium, Luxembourg) without having to travel too far.

Futher details will be posted during the month to come and the full programm will be known in january 2007.

This is only a preannoucement so you have a lot of time to plan your 2007 trips

Durant le weekend de pentecôte se déroulera un meeting international du 26 au 28 mai 2007 au Luxemburg et dans les régions limitrophes.

Comme le Luxemburg et la grande région(Saar-Lor-Lux) sont capitale culturelle européenne 2007 on fera des visites culturelles et biensûr des excursions gastronomiques aux 4 pays (F-D-B & L)

Hi,

the planning commitee had its first meeting this weekend. Many ideas and also somefirst decisions were made. Hope to be able to publish first details at the beginning of december!

I'm sure that we will meet in june 2007!

Next step 2006-05-12

The planning committee has thought about several possibilities to create a fantastic event.

The centre of our activities will be the area between Luxembourg City and the small town of Bettembourg.

Saturday 2007-05-26

After arrival and check-in in particular hotels the participants will be let through the museum of natural science in Luxembourg City (also very interesting for kids!) The Club Seventyfive will invite you for a drink and some snacks.
After visiting the museum we will drive a few kilometres to a typical restaurant to enjoy local food and drinks. Open end.

Sunday 2007-05-27

All participants will meet at Bettembourg Castle and a maximum number of 50 cars may be parked in the castle courtyard. The City council of Bettembourg will welcome us there with a glass of wine. Within walking distance we will reach a restaurant to take our lunch (if the club will have enough money you will be invited for the lunch!).
In the afternoon back to Bettembourg Castle. Meeting with special guests and some very interesting information about the Rover 75 and the MG ZT will be given to you by specialists.
Possibility to view all the cars and perhaps you may win a nice item during our raffle.
Drive to a restaurant to take the dinner. Open end.

Monday 2007-05-28

Drive to a location in France that is very important for every driver of a Rover or MG (surprise!). We hope that we can arrange a very special experience. After that lunch and winding up the event.

There also will be time to visit other events in conjunction with the great event “Luxembourg-
European Capital Of Culture 2007” http://www.luxembourg2007.org/GB/index.html.

This is only a suggestion. The planning committee is working hard to create an unforgettable event for you!

Et voila; la première esquisse du programme:



[/b]Samedi 26.05

Après vous avoir installé dans votre hôtel: Visite guidée du musée d'Histoire naturelle du Luxembourg(très interssant pour les enfants)

Sur place apéritif de bienvenue incluant des amuse-gueule offert par le club.
Puis petit trajet de quelques kilomètres ;destination un restaurant servant des spécialitées luxembourgeoises,soirée jusqu'au petit matin

Dimanche 27.05

Accueuil des participants au château de Bettembourg.Vin d'honneur offert par la mairie.A midi ballade à pied dans un restaurant où le club offrira le déjeuner (sans collations).Après-midi retour à la salle des fêtes du château où des spécialistes de Rover et MG vous donneront des infos de toutes sortes .Questions à ce sujet seront biensûr les bienvenues.
Dans la soirée : Restaurant (pas de convoi car on espère beaucoup de voitures de sorte qu'un convoi sera impossible à gérer,mais on vous procurera des cartes routières et une description détaillée du
trajet.
Soirée jusqu'.......

Lundi 28.05

Trajet jusqu'en France (50kms) vers une destination que tout conducteur de Rover et Mg apprécira(Dès que le comité d'organisation aura le feu vert vous en serez informé de suite)
Déjeuner d'adieu des paticipants.



Ps: Ceux qui voudraient arriver déjà le vendredi une petit programme sympha sera organisé.

En espérant que ce programme pas trop provisoire sera de votre goût on vous informe qu'un site d'inscription incluant le choix de différents hôtels (de toutes catégories de prix)et bien sûr de campings sera lancé au très début de 2007.
